9 July, 2024: the occupying state seized 65 dunums of citizens’ lands in the villages of Qabalan and Beita. The CWRC said that the seizure operation under the name of state lands aims to settle the conditions of the Avitar colonial outpost, which was established on citizens private lands in Jabal Subeih, and which the occupation cabinet announced its intention to settle the conditions of “legitimizing” 5 new colonial outposts at the time, two weeks ago from now.
The CWRC added that the decision to seize with the aim of stabilizing the outpost contradicts the decisions of the occupying state itself, which more than once recognized the right of ownership of Palestinian citizens in this land, after the occupation’s argument was invalidated more than once in this issue.
The CWRC confirmed that the occupying state in this step continues to violate all laws and legislation that criminalized colonial settlement and criminalized the behaviour of the occupying state.
The CWRC confirmed that it, along with all legal partners, will continue its battle to thwart the occupation’s plans to control the Palestinian land.
