October 12, 2024: The occupying state seized a total of 53,947 dunums of citizens' lands in the village of Kafel Haris and the city of Salfit in the Salfit Governorate, with the aim of constructing a road connecting the entrance to the city of Salfit to the main street, and depriving the people of the Salfit Governorate from passing through the main road designated for the city.

The military order bore the number T/90/24 and is valid until December 31, 2027. Usually, the road construction for the benefit of citizens declared under the name of an expropriation order, but this time a decision was issued to seize the land with a specific time frame (until 12/31/2027) with military order.

After reviewing a group of references and maps attached, it became clear that the occupation army is deceiving the citizens who will object in court against the decision by claiming that the confiscation came for security reasons, but in fact the military order wants to control the course and outcomes of the street under the pretext of security and military, without objection from the citizens in the case of closing the road in front of them on the first street that was designated for settlers only, and opening the second road.
