August 15, 2024: A citizen was martyred and others were injured, one of them critically, this evening, Thursday, in an attack by colonists on the village of Jit, east of Qalqilya.
The Ministry of Health reported that the body of the young martyr, Rashid Mahmoud Abdel Qader Sadda (23 years old), who was critically injured in the chest by settlers’ bullets, arrived at the Rafidiya Governmental Hospital in Nablus, from the village of Jit.
The armed colonists attacked the village and fired live bullets at the citizens, which resulted in the young man, Sadda, and another citizen being critically injured. Meanwhile, ambulance crews dealt with the young man Sadda being wounded by live bullets in the chest, and he was transferred to the hospital, where his injury was described as critical, and doctors declared him dead. In addition, a young man was injured in the head and leg, and another was injured with a stone in the head, as a result of the colonists’ assault on them, in addition to an elderly woman who suffocated as a result of inhaling poisonous gas, and they were treated in the field.
The colonists attacked the western and southern area of the village, and set fire to 4 houses and 6 vehicles, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, who also fired bullets, stun grenades, and poisonous gas towards the citizens.
