January 25, 2025: With the announcement by the leaders of the occupying state, alongside measures to halt aggression against our people in Gaza, the West Bank has once again been turned into a principal battlefield. These days, nearly every corner of the West Bank has become a special arena for aggression that rises to the level of war crimes.
The crimes of the settlers have reached unprecedented levels—not only in terms of numbers and statistics but also in their entrenched patterns, now a consistent policy of the settlers and their decision-makers within the occupying government. This continuous violence aims to forcibly displace the indigenous population, and it is no secret. The leaders of the occupying state openly and repeatedly declare this goal. At the same time, the machinery of destruction continues to invade Palestinian cities, especially in the northern West Bank, deliberately destroying infrastructure, targeting refugee camps, and executing individuals without hesitation.
The settlers’ crimes have evolved beyond primitive violence to institutionalized terrorism endorsed by the occupying state. This terrorism burns homes, executes civilians, and forcibly displaces families. Even more dangerously, these acts are supported by a legislative framework that provides immunity and unwavering protection to the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, the occupying state continues to suffocate Palestinians through a network of over 898 checkpoints, gates, and a wall stretching 700 kilometers across the land. These barriers tear apart Palestinian geography, isolating towns and villages and making daily life unbearable.
Parallel to this, the systematic seizure of land from its rightful owners continues. This is not a random policy but a calculated strategy aimed at ensuring full control over strategic areas of Palestinian land. This strategy undermines any possibility of establishing a future Palestinian state, instead paving the way for settlement expansion. The goal of reaching one million settlers by 2030—declared by the so-called Settlement Council—has driven billions of shekels into infrastructure projects, roads, energy networks, and reduced taxes, all serving the settlers while tightening the noose on Palestinians.
Today, the Palestinian people stand at a critical juncture in confronting these dark schemes. Despite the pain and scars of the Nakba, the Naksa, and countless massacres, history has proven that Palestinians have the strength to resist and endure.
In this decisive moment, Palestinians must unite under a comprehensive national strategy that addresses internal divisions, strengthens resilience, and mobilizes global support. By reaching out to the world and rallying allies for justice, Palestinians can deliver their message and uphold their rights in one of the most sacred lands on Earth—Palestine.
