The accompanying graphics, prepared by the Information and Reporting Directorate, reveal a significant escalation in the levels of the violations committed by the Israeli occupation state (whether by its army or its colonizers) against the Palestinian citizens and their properties. This quick summary monitors the forms of this escalation during the period since the beginning of 2023. It also monitors colonizers’ violations between the years 2015-2023 (specifically until the end of October).

The monitored data indicate that the year 2023 has become a pivotal turning point in the escalation and intensity of these attacks. The escalation of these attacks did not stop at the boundaries of the statistics that leave no doubt about their escalation and uncontrollable surge. Rather, they started taking dangerous curves and their indicators point to the elements of these dangers. These elements include the ease of firing at Palestinian citizens whether by the occupation army or by the colonizers (200 martyrs since the beginning of the aggression against our people on the 7th of October, 9 of whom were martyred at the hands of colonizers). These attacks aim to establish forcible displacement in the most vulnerable of communities, especially those residing in the Eastern Slopes of the West Bank, in addition to inflicting a state of fear and psychological trauma on Palestinian citizens, especially among those who move in the streets of the West Bank where colonizers are establishing a state of “dangerous friction” with the citizens.

Perhaps examining the levels of attacks since the beginning of 2023 will reveal this heated escalation. This escalation can be understood by several factors. First: the declared slogans made by the fascist government formed at the beginning of the year; it is described as the most extreme and the clearest in its imposition of new realities on the ground in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. What followed these slogans were tangible procedures on the ground, among which was the reckless distribution of weapons to colonizer militia (with more than 26,000 pieces currently being distributed in terrorist ceremonies). Second: the imposition of facts on the ground through the consolidation of control with a series of military orders. These measures require the behavior of groups and terrorist militias attempting, in alignment with the official level, to deter and restrain both popular and official Palestinian resistance to these actions (more than 50,000 dunums seized under various names, and over 13 small colonial outposts established so far, in addition to the planning of more than 14,000 housing units since the beginning of 2023 alone).

Thus, the data, tied to the violations and attacks that are carried out according to terrorist behavior that escalate to specific levels of war crimes, are in strict harmony with a series of colonial measures that confiscate land and do not stop at a certain limit, but rather roll like a fireball.
