Ramallah, June 12, 2023: In the context of reaching a national partnership, Shaaban receives the National Insurance Company (NIC) to launch an insurance service against attacks led by  settler and the occupation forces  to secure vehicles.

Minister Moayad Shaaban received in his office today the Director General of the National Insurance Company, Mr. Bashar Hussein, and the two sides discussed a joint mechanism for launching a new insurance service for vehicles against settler attacks and military actions of the occupation. Hussein pointed out that this service comes in response to the citizens' need to compensate for material damage to vehicles as a result of the actions of settlers and the occupation forces.

In turn, Shaaban thanked the National Insurance Company, praising this service to our people, which has always been demanded through the media, and the need for the private sector to shoulder its national responsibilities towards what our Palestinian cause is going through. This service will be used by reporting the attack and registering it with the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in order to provide the necessary data to prepare files to pursue the occupation.

The Palestinian territories have witnessed, in the recent period, a serious escalation in terms of attacks and violations by armed settlers, who are protected by the force of the occupation army and who intend to inflict the greatest damage on the Palestinian citizens and their property in order to create a coercive and coercive environment in order to empty the Palestinian land in favor of the settlement project, and this step takes a strategic dimension in strengthening the steadfastness of citizens and completely thwart the occupation schemes.
